Notes

Fence rules are materially the same in Section 1 and Section 2. All fences must be approved by the Committee before installation as to size, location, height, and composition. Fences must be wooden or a synthetic material having the appearance of wood. The finished side must face adjacent lots. Fences may not be erected beyond the setback lines in the front yard. However, corner lots with two frontages may erect a fence up to five feet beyond the side-yard setback line that faces a street. A later Affidavit of Correction states that Section 3.B(ii) side-yard setback lines should read 'not less than 5 feet' rather than 'not less than 6 feet.' Committee approval provision also requires fences to be approved before erection and requires submission of a plot plan, print or brochure, and color scheme.
